Drivers side door wont open

 · . #1. Car is a year old. Pushing the handle on the outside causes the motor to turn but the door doesnt pop open. Using the controls on the inside and touching the driver door causes the motor to turn but door doesnt pop open. Only want to open the door is from the inside by pulling the handle. Even that it isnt smooth.  · Hi friends, I went to get in my car the other night and after unlocking the door I couldn't open it from inside or out (the drivers side door). I finally managed to get the door open from the outside by pushing on it and simultaneously pulling on the handle. I still can't get the door open. My altima s driver's side door wont open from inside or outside thought door was frozen shut so pulled handle hard to try and open now cant open door You will need to take inside door panel loose which is a little hard with door shut but it can be done and probably replace door Handel if the Handel it's self is not broke it's most likely just a little plastic clip that holds the rod to the lock.

Hyundai Elantra SE - Driver side rear door won't open from the inside or outside. You will need to remove the inside door panel, what that takes I don't know, but it must come off to access the door latch, there you will likely find the latch release control rod has come off or the latch is defective. I had this same issue really bad would never open front door always had to open back door first. The way to fix it is access the 12V battery in the Frunk by removing the panels on the driver side. Take a 10MM wrench and remove the 12V battery terminal on the Positive side for a min. Put it back on and it fixes the issue.
